You can help our ground-nesting bee research

The majority of bee species nest underground, but they are vastly under-researched. We need your help to find the nesting sites of ground-nesting bees.

We’re investigating the behaviour and biology of three ground-nesting bee species: Leioproctus fulvus with tawny fur and a golden abdomen, the black and white Lasioglossum calophyllae, and the metallic green Lasioglossum urbanum.
